Smart Exercise Selection

Not random — every choice is deliberate

  • The app evaluates 11 factors for every exercise choice: muscle targeting, movement type, equipment, experience level, stretch emphasis, staleness, and more
  • It prefers exercises that train muscles in a stretched position — recent research shows this produces better results
  • A greedy interleave algorithm spaces exercises so the same muscle never appears back-to-back
  • Base movement deduplication prevents multiple variants of the same lift (e.g. three deadlift types) on one day
  • Exercises rotate between mesocycles so you're not doing the same thing for months
  • Beginners get guided toward simpler movements first, progressing naturally as they advance
Lengthened-position training produces superior hypertrophy (Pedrosa et al., 2023). Exercise variation enhances muscle growth through novel loading patterns (Fonseca et al., 2014).

Automatic Progression

You lift, the app handles the maths

  • Work within your rep range — when you hit the top on all sets, weight goes up automatically
  • If you're stuck at a weight for multiple sessions, the app reduces it so you can build back up
  • Bodyweight exercises progress by reps with a sensible cap, then prompt adding external load
  • Prominent visual indicators highlight weight increases — a celebration banner and green accents make progression feel rewarding
  • You never need to calculate anything — the app tells you exactly what to do next
